VIL Academy TJHSST Test Series is a specially designed series of tests for students who are preparing for the TJHSST exam. The course consists of various challenging writing models and at VIL all of them are handled by our instructor who has over eight years of successfully coaching students admitted to TJHSST.
The test series encompasses challenging math or science essays, and responses to SPS questions.
The following are exemplars of the essay prompts.
Oysters in the Chesapeake Bay help filter the water. Oysters can filter 50 gallons a day. The Chesapeake Bay has 15 trillion gallons of water. 750 thousand oysters can live in an acre. The Chesapeake Bay is 2.9 million acres. With these constraints, can the Chesapeake Bay support enough oysters to filter all the Bay’s water in a single day? Provide model variations in addition to your answer.
An internet service provider offers three different plans for the residential user, as shown on the following page. Isabelle is now considering switching from Plan A to either Plan B or Plan C (a “high speed” plan). She thinks Plan C might be the better choice because its speed would save her some time each month, as described on the following page. Is the additional “free time” provided by the “high speed” plan, Plan C, worth the additional cost? At what minimum hourly rate, in dollars per hour, would Isabelle have to value her work for Plan C to be worth the extra cost over Plan B?

Collaboration is an important skill for TJ students. Collaboration requires respect for the views of others and the ability to work with others as well as independently. Describe a time in which you had to work with others to achieve a goal. What was the goal? How were you able to effectively collaborate with others? What was the outcome? Please respond in short answer/essay format and include specific details.
