Virtual Incisive Learning Academy was established with the aim of bringing an enjoyable dimension to English language learning. Emphasizing the importance of comfort and safety, our academy recognizes home as an ideal setting for effective learning. VIL Academy offers a range of modules and educational materials, all complemented by the expert mentorship of Dr. William D. Bajusz.

Dr. Bajusz (“Mr. Bill”) is an accomplished teacher, tutor, and academic coach. After leaving a thirty-year career in private industry and government, he has devoted himself to tutoring and teaching reading comprehension, critical thinking and problem-solving, advanced grammar, and writing to elementary, middle, and high school students. In addition to having taught at the university level as a graduate student, since 2013, he has taught grades 3 through 12 English, Academies of Loudoun admissions prep, Thomas Jefferson High School of Science and Technology (TJHSST) admissions prep, PSAT/SAT prep, and ACT prep. He emphasizes teaching writing mastery in all grades. Writing students benefit from his first career during which he authored three books, numerous journal articles, and over 100 research and conference papers presented in the U.S. and abroad.
